I have posted a video of me singing to demonstrate my sound production. :)
It is in the video section, the last video.
Project update
So yesterday and today I have been working with the Logger pro and volunteer students who are not singers. The varied results from the singers and non singers from their best attempt to their improved attempt (for non singers: fixing their posture and breath. For singers straght tone vs. vibrato.) I will put the data up soon.
Physics project 2010
This blog is created for WH's second semester physics class. On this blog you will find photos, videos, my final paper and sources, and data from my experiments for my final project; Voice. Many of the topics covered in detail on my paper are the properties of the vocal chords, the throat, sound production, resonance, harmonics within the body, frequencies of the voice, and how singers use the voice and its many aspects.
For the project, I plan to experiment with the Logger Pro software and fast fourier transform (FFT) program on a computer to compare the harmonics and sound waves in non trained singers and trained singers.
The final paper will be available by June 2, and no later than June 9th.
